When I was moving about a lot between the years of 2014 and 2018 I used to make a load of notes about Culinary Discoveries (altho they were not named as such), wonders of the world. Culinary Discoveries were curtailed, but now they continue, here as Culinary Discoveries.
I am also making occasional Tripadvisor reviews describing various eateries my account is called 'Blossom Feasts' and u can find it here: https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Profile/blossom_feasts.
Cuttlefish cakes, May 2023 -
In a big residential area in another place in Europe (we are not in the EU but we are still in Europe, plz) there were little cuttlefish cakes served as disk-food on a table with secret bag-hooks underneath. The little cuttlefish cakes were all bread-crumbed and sizzle-brown and kind of 'set'. You eat them with lemon juice, followed by black tuna, and poisonous liquor, and pinenut ice-cream.
Scapes, June 2023 -
You can eat the seed-tops of garlic plants and they are referred to as 'scapes'. They r very nice & much more meaty than the infamous courgette flower. They r already stuffed full of garlicky-ness. U can eat them best fried, most probably, in or out of battr.
Olive soup, June 2023 -
In Lidl at the start of June you could get a load of Italian goods. One of the Italian goods was a tin of olive soup. 3 of my friends came to visit and they were whispering about being whispered to about the olive soup. When I was in Lidl I bought some olive soup. It was delicious.
Cumin, July 2023 -
Cumin is a warm hug. I cannot stand it / I love it.
Party Ring Minis, July 2023 -
You can find miniature Party Rings in Home Bargains for below 50p and most of them will not even be broken (1/6). The Party Ring is still sold in many mainstream groceries, contrary perhaps to popular assumption. Regard the diagonal hatching on the back just as much as the colourful glazing. Sweet holy party biscuits, thank u for your custom.
